Development of the Finnish company Onninen operating since 1913. led to the launch of a modern Distribution Center in Teolin (near Łódź), from which products are delivered to a network of 36 branches located in various parts of Poland. Onninen Central Warehouse is constantly supplied with new technologies due to the fact that the company’s logistics aims at full automation and digitization of processes.

 

In order to improve transport processes, Onninen replaced its existing solution with a modern TMS FALCON system. The software is primarily to ensure a short delivery time to the indicated place and enable a quick response to orders in the transfer of data to the entire car fleet (over 150 vehicles). OPTIDATA has also integrated a new solution, incl. with the SAP system.

 

“The implemented TMS Falcon system in Onninen primarily automates the processes related to providing full information to our customers on the status of their shipments, electronic delivery notes and SMS codes to pick up delivery at the construction site. The process of handling and the circulation of documents confirming the receipt of goods by the customer has been fully improved thanks to the digitization of the delivery note: possibility of electronic signature and verification of collection authorization by entering the PIN code. The software also enables vehicle and route tracking – track & trace. Therefore, the routes have been optimized, and thanks to the use of Emapa products, our drivers are properly navigated, ”explains Michał Kośna – Transport Manager at Onninen Polska.
